Exegesis

Virtual reality worlds are now mixed with real life making it hard to distinguish.  A sports star such as an athlete might receive an award on television from a virtual leader which is a facsimile of the leader  who is made and controlled using high speed computers. Deception by disguise and plastic surgury are methods that virtual reality terrorists are also capable of.

The virtual reality industry has grown by leaps and bound.  Other applications of virtual reality include entertainment, education ( e.g. medical or military training) and business; such as virtual meetings where a mix of real and virtual people meat to discuss matters of importance. Other distinct types of VR-style technology include augmented reality and mixed reality, sometimes referred to as extended reality or XR, although definitions are currently changing due to the nascence of the industry.

Currently, standard virtual reality gaming use either virtual reality headsets or multi-projected environments to generate realistic images, sounds and other sensations that simulate a user’s physical presence in a virtual environment.

In mixed reality, standard virtual reality terrorist operations require no special equipment and are mixed in with regular television programming.
